Play by Play

How about being able to have the play by play when importing a game. By having the play by play, it makes the stats more usable and it's easier to find where an error is.

Also, it just makes the stats look more professional instead of have full stats for just home games and half that amount of the stats for the road games.

The way the play-by-play was originally written in the software has some significant advantages but it makes importng and exporting play-by-play files nearly impossible; this is why we haven't been able to do anything about it until now. It would have been too costly.

However, we've got a few things in the works that should address this need going forward. Expect to see something by basketball season.

In regards to football, we've tried to include some of the more important htings in the box score such as scoring summary, and the scoring summary is also now posted online when you Web-Sync.

question ... I got stats from our opponent (since it was at their place), and they had every kickoff being from the 35-yard line ... PROBLEM IS that kickoffs are now from the 30-yard line (and that begin LAST SEASON) ... Has DakStats not updated this or has the school in question not updated their software recently???

If the school has the latest version, it will default to the 30-yard line. If they haven't updated, it will still show 35-yard line as default.

However, users can still edit the default yard line if they haven't updated by going to the Configure > Rules Configuration screen.
